Acquired by Caspar Purdon Clarke on his purchasing trip to India in 1881 to 1882. 1883 Register Entry: CLOTH, Cotton. Printed with a trellis pattern containing a flowering sprig, with narrow side borders, and wide end borders in lands of floral cones, trellis pattern and running ornament ; in black, blue and white on a red ground. Made for the Singapore market. Coinbaconum. 19th cent. L. 7 ft. 10 in., W. 3 ft. 6 in, Bought, 38. 2307.-1883. (I.S,).
