Place of origin |
Bright red shawl twill woven with wool weft and silk warp. With a border of small, squat cones about 4 inches in height which are filled with stylised flower-heads. The other colours used are white, peacock blue, green and mauve. A larger, slimmer cone filled with flowers and with stems of flowers curved round it like a husk is set diagonally in each corner of the field.
