1852 Inventory entry: 'SHAWL. Dark green gauze, with borders of gold tissue. Indian (Dholepore in Rajpootana), modern. 11 ft. by 6 ft. 3 in. Bought (Exhibition of 1851), 18l. 765-1852.'

Entry in the Catalogue of East Indian Productions Collected in the Presidency of Bengal and Forwarded to the Exhibition of Works of Art and Industry to be Held in London in 1851: '2069 a Green Square Shawl. - Manufactured in the Dominion of His Highness the Maharaja of Dholepore in the State of Rajpootanah.'
