Transferred from India Museum 1879. Slip book entry 6506: 'Silk, gold & silver cloth / Kinkhaub / Nagode / Price Rs.225 for the original piece / 1867 / Original nos. 1129 / 4ft 3in long'. Listed the 'List of Articles to be forwarded to The Paris Universal Exhibition of 1867 through the Central Committee for Bengal' as one the pieces sent 'From the Political Assistant, Nagode': 'A piece of kamkhab of magenta silk, with gold and silver flowers'.
