Kain kapala (head-cloth) of cotton batik. Field pattern of lozenges, alternately blue and cream, the cream ones longer than the blue. The blue lozenges are patterned with a repeating stylised rosette in cream and red, the cream lozenges with a small stylised rosette in red and a row of red outline circles all round their edges, in some cases encroaching on the neighbouring blue lozenges. Border pattern of stylised flowers and foliage in red on a cream ground, between guard borders of scrolling foliage in cream on a red ground.
