The design shows a full length female figure with right arm raised. The figure wears a long 1940's style brown striped overcoat, brown ankle boots, gloves, and hat. The coat is fitted at the waist and flared in the skirt. Grey paint has been applied directly behind the figure. Annotated by artist.

The design was executed for a production of Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's play "The Man Who Came to Dinner" at the Chichester Festival Theatre, July 30th, 1979. The production was directed by Patrick Lau. |
