Transferred from the India Museum in 1879. 1880 Register entry: 'Box No. 77. 6,037 to 6,063. GARMENTS, &c. Embroidered silk.'. Slip book entry: 'Moonga Silk Skirt for Dress / Madras / 55 / Elaborately embroidered with cotton thread with some pieces for trimming'.
