Boy's robe (angarkha) of purple satin trimmed at the cuffs and around the neck with strips of woven silk and silver-gilt-wrapped thread (tinsel ribbon) with applied sequins and crimped metal strip. Additional loops of braided metal-wrapped thread on the right side of the neck, and a row of acorn-shaped decorative fasteners wrapped with silk and silver-gilt-wrapped thread along the upper left side. Smaller acron-shaped decorative fastenings on both sleeves. Yellow silk piping and green facing along all hems. Openings under the arms. Lined with plain white cotton.
