Place of origin

Cap with crown removed, leaving a band of densely embroidered and couched metal-wrapped thread and sequins in a floral meander pattern. Embroidery is worked over a woven cotton base with cotton wool padding. The underside is lined with recycled ledger paper, with inscriptions crossed-out. Complete lining of red cotton intact.
