The glazed earthenware bottle has a trumpet-shaped neck resting on a double-ringed collar above the body and flares out to the shoulder of the vessel. At this point it then tapers inwards to the foot. It has white slip decoration painted over a dark slip under a yellow glaze. The decoration is of stylised flowers within arched compartments on the lower part of the body demarcated by vertical bands of chevrons. This decoration is repeated in a simpler form above and the neck is decorated with dotted with treble-pointed bud motifs.

Historical context
Sind has had a long tradition of making glazed tiles and earthenware pottery wares, and Tatta was one of the main centres of manufacture.
