Offering dish and cover of bamboo, twelve-sided; the cover is pyramidal in form and is surmounted by a finial with knob. The whole of the outside is covered with black lacquer, broken up by bands of red lacquer, and decorated with inlaid panels of floral designs in mother-of-pearl. The stand and cover are coated on the inside with black and red lacquer respectively.

Physical description
Offering dish and cover of bamboo, twelve-sided; the cover is pyramidal in form and is surmounted by a finial with knob. The whole of the outside is covered with black lacquer, broken up by bands of red lacquer, and decorated with inlaid panels of floral designs in mother-of-pearl. The stand and cover are coated on the inside with black and red lacquer respectively.
