To the left of the scene is a prison door, a table with three chairs, and a barred window. To the right in the distance and in darkness is a Judge's bench from a court room. A black border has been painted around the design. Above the border are various paint daubs.

This Set design by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The design was executed for a production of Jack Roffey and Ronald Kinnoch's play "Justice is a Woman" at the Vaudeville Theatre, 1966.
