Cap, white satin base. Band is decorated with gota (metal-strip and silk ribbon), sequins, metal strip, and blue glass beads on red and green striped silk. Crown is in four sections, each bordered with metal strip and tinsel, with a central rosette of gota and tinsel surrounding a red centre with applied piece of beetle-wing. Interior is lined a European (probably British) printed cotton with floral design.
