Scrapbook of 102 bound pages containing a range of personal material, original drawings and ephemera relating to the life and work of Eddie Squires in the early 1970s. Most of this material is contemporary with the album but some is historic. The contents include photographs of Squires and his friends; portraits and design drawings by Squires; pictures of celebrities and pin-ups; children's drawings; popular, fine art and 3D postcards; popular prints; Christmas cards; birthday cards; change of address cards; party invitations; wrapping paper; patterned papers; letters; trade cards and business cards; food packaging; soap packaging; cigarette and tobacco packaging; match boxes; seed packets; Indian packaging; playing cards; book covers and book illustrations, exhibition leaflets; theatre programmes; pictures from magazines and holiday brochures; maps; Green Shield stamps; historic textile and wallpaper designs; historic loom drafts and warping plans; proprietary artists' colour charts; Indian woodcuts; sew-on patches; photographs of Squires' 'Dragon' and 'Mandala' designs; photographs of Indian miniatures at the V&A; photographs of Eddie Squires wearing his 'Tantric' and 'Jewel' jackets; photographs of the office designed by Eddie Squires for Gilchrist Printers.
