'Hats / for the Children / [a line] / Top A Yellow fancy straw / trimmed with a blue velvet / ribbon & nosebud posies. / Left A mauve linen hat, with shell / pink organdie underbrim / which is allowed to show / through the cut-out design / on the upper surface, & / also appears on the / lower part of the crown. / Right / A cap of fine speckled tweed stockinette in green & yellow, / trimmed with a green ribbon, / & worn with a scarf of same / material.'
