Costume design for Dulcie Gray as Lady Chiltern in Act II of "An Ideal Husband". The design shows a full length female figure holding a parasol in her left hand. The figure wears a late 19th century two tiered pleated shoulder cape over a tight fitting, high collared lace blouse with satin bodice; and flared skirt with a pleated chiffon hem, all in a dull rose colour. Gloves and a small hat decorated with Lilies of the Valley & Forget Me Nots is also worn. To the left of the figure is a detailed depiction of the blouse worn under the cape. The design has been drawn and painted over a light grey wash. Annotated by the artist.

This Costume design by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The design was executed for a production Oscar Wilde's play "An Ideal Husband" at the Strand Theatre, 1965.
