Set design for "Double Edge". The scene depicts the interior of a room with a window to the left, under which is placed a writing desk with telephone and chair, an armchair and a filing cabinet. To the right of the window in a white door. Along the back wall of the room is a low, two shelved book case below what appears to be a mirrored cupboard. To the right of the scene is another door above which a mezzanine area has been constructed. A wooden staircase leads up to the upper level. The entire right wall is lined with bookcases, and in front of the door is an armchair and table. The walls are decorated with various paintings and lamps.

The design was executed for a production of Leslie Darbon and Peter Whelan's play "Double Edge" at the Vaudeville Theatre, November 5th, 1975. The play was directed by Anthony Sharp. |
