Costume design for an Ice dancer as the Cambodian Mannequin (Third Group) In Act II Scene 5 of "Chu Chin Chow on Ice". The design depicts a full length female figure with arms outstretched. The figure wears a patterned blue and gold off the shoulder bodice, and tiered trouser bottoms in the same colours. The crotch area of the trousers are decorated with a purple flower, and gold and purple fronds. The figure wears a gold necklace, and gold arm and wrist bands. The outfit is completed with an elaborate head-dress decorated with purple flowers, and gold and purple fronds.

This costume design by Anthony Holland is part of an extensive collection of designs donated to the Theatre Museum by the artist in 1996. The design was executed for a production of Gerald Palmer's "Chu Chin Chow on Ice" at the Empire Pool, Wembley, June 30th 1953. The production was produced by Gerald Palmer, and choreographed by Beatrice Livesey.

Historical significance: An example of costume design for an Ice Show by an artist who worked extensively in this specialist field.
