Brush rest, in the form of a range of mountains with five peaks. Stoneware with coloured glazes. On the sides are plants and symbols, a qilin and deer on waves in low relief coloured green, yellow, aubergine, and white in a dark aubergine ground. The base is unglazed. The shape is a lucky form because it represents the mountainous paradise. The decoration is of auspicious creatures.
