Brush pot, porcelain with carved decoration and painting in underglaze blue, red and celadon. Of plain cylindrical shape, with flat base having a broad unglazed ring surrounding a shallow glazed depression in the centre, on which the mark is written. Round the outside is a design with a qilin, tiger, and another animal depicted in a landscape with lingzhi fungus growing by a rock, and the moon among clouds. The inside is plain.
