Writing box and lid of porcelain. Oblong with rounded ends; inside are three wells at one end and an oblong cavity at the other. Painted on the biscuit with enamel colours in the famille verte palette. Round the outside of the box butterflies and flowers; inside, on the top, stylised dragons and lotus scrolls; on the bottom a prawn. On the cover, a stork with plum-blossoms and emblems; diaper round the sides. Unglazed base.
