Patrick Caulfield (born 1936) Design for 'Bat Jet' logo Watercolour on Chinese White E. 962-2000 Purchased from Mike Ross This design was commissioned by Mike Ross for a promotional T shirt for his Transatlantic Baseball Bulletin. The T shirt was produced in two colour-ways and both have been acquired by the department of Textiles and Dress.
Object history
This design was created by Patrick Caulfield in collaboration with baseball entrepreneur Mike Ross with Strike Zone. It was used on a limited edition T-shirt. The logo was also used for The Transatlantic Baseball Bulletin, produced in London for fans of American baseball.
