Water container and cover.
The container is made from five pieces of wood with a handle. The corners are butt-joined, with the ends of the longer sides projecting very slightly beyond those of the shorter sides. The handle which joins the centres of the longer sides, is a simple piece of wood of square section with an inverted 'U' shape cut out from the lower side in the centre. The whole container and lid is covered in a translucent brown lacquer shading to yellowish on the edges.
