Hanging temple-picture, tangka showing the third Panchen Lama of Shigatse, bLo-bzang-dpal-ldan-ldan-yeshes (1737-79); his right hand makes the 'expository' gesture (vitarka mudra), whils his left hand holds a book. Before him stands a small altar, with a monk's begging bowl (patra) and altar-vessels. At the bottom of the picture is Green Tara, the White Tara, the lion-faced Dakini, the Vajra Dakini and a hooded lama. Besides him are two tables, one with a cup and anewer, and the other holding a bowl with coral and precious objects.
