Physical description

A flat, kite-shaped slab of terracotta representing a stylised female form, with applied circles for breasts, pinched face and a triangular design made by rolling a serrated wheel on the surface and impressed circles in the lower half.

Production Note

Made while Dhruva Mistry was Artist in Residence at the V&A in April 1988. Inspired by triangular-bodies mother goddess figures from Sari Dheri on display in the V&A gallery where the artist was working.
