Physical description

Coverlet, block printed and painted cotton, square, with central medallion and corner elements with floral motifs. Inner border with floral meander; outer border with reciprocal merlons, complete selvedge to selvedge, cut at both ends. The large coloured areas are painted, and the small motifs are printed. Colours have faded over two thirds of the surface.
