Physical description

Radha with her right hand raised, "offering paan", but the pose is a little fluid and her hair is topped by an elaborate knot. The incised lotus on the round base with a simplified beaded edge, as well as the fluidity and degee of wear, is similar to in style to Krishna figure IS.81-1960. Although probably not originally a pair as their histories are different, the design is very close and it seems likely they could have been made at the same workshop.
