Of cast and incised bronze, painted red and overlaid with gold. The shrine is in two parts, the Buddha-house and the square base. In front is a doorway, the sides having openwork diamond tracery. The triple roof has small windows and flame-like finials. The openwork base has a Greek cross motive and zig zag brattishing.

Lent by the Royal Asiatic Society of London to the India Museum. Transferred from the India Museum to South Kensington Museum in November 1879. Renumbered in 1924.
