Place of origin |
Circular stone dish with a damaged rim. The central part is divided into two parts, with a horizontal divider separating them. The upper, larger segment, has a semi-circular floral motif with seven petals curving over at their ends with beaded decoration running down each of their centres. The lower part has more sketchily carved petal decoration carved with crudely incised lines radiating from a featureless lump of stone in the middle. The rim is largely missing from this lower part but in the upper left hand quadrant a running husk motif is still clearly visible.
