Album of designs (146) mounted on 185 sheets of white wove paper, quarter bound and containing the book-plates of Charles Edward Fewster, Hull, c.1861-8.Including ceramic designs for Minton, designs for wallpaper for Jeffrey & Co., William Cooke, John Trumble and Brinton & Lewis, and comparative charts of Celtic, Mexican, Arabic, Chinese and Greek ornament. Also tracings (54 sheets) from illuminated booksby Owen Jones, a design for a title-page for Paradise and the Peri by Thomas Moore, and other book designs.
