Textile sample of ikat fabric from a garment piece, woven in a mixture of silk and cotton. It has a striped silk weft mainly in satin-weave, partly tied-dyed before weaving. Warp of undyed cotton. The colours are red, blue, yellow and some dark brown and salmon pink. Some red sections are tie-dyed with yellow reserved, and the blue sections tie-dyed with white reserved.
