Small square cover panel of white calico cotton embroidered in white floss-silk in satin-stitch and stripes of open drawn-work. In the centre is an eight-pointed star enclosing small floral scrolls surrounded by trefoils and half-rosettes separated from each other by a wavy line. The border has a design of rosettes and half-rosettes within a diamond trellis, and is edged with two bands of openwork.
