Hanging or cover, red silk damask border (probably Chinese) surrounding a central rectangular panel of embroidered sari borders stitched together. Sari borders are made of black, tie-dyed Chinese leno silk with silk embroidery in white with red highlights in a floral meander design. Emboidery is done in 'Chinese' or blind knots, button-hole, and chain stitch. Textile is lined with silk printed in imitation of banhani design.
