Cap, made of two flat semi-circular pieces sewn together. Purple satin with embroidered and couched decoration in metal-wrapped thread, sequins, crimped metal strip, and gota work (silk and metal-strip ribbon). Pattern (identical on both sides) is of flowering branches around a crescent shape. Lined with a glazed printed cotton with repeat floral design.
