A knife and sheath. The knife has a long, slender blade that has raised gilded decoration to both sides, one side bearing various designs and the other bearing a design and an inscription. The handle is made from of a very deep blue lapis lazuli and is of roughly oval cross-section. There is a small lapis lazuli cone set into the end of the handle.
The sheath is silver with gilding on one edge, with both sides being decorated with sliver animals, raised above a blue enamel background. One side only is set along its length with two large and four smaller oval lapis lazuli cabochons. At the open, pear-shaped end, there is a encircling band set with 6 small round lapis lazuli cabochons.
