The head and butt of steel, the shaft of turned wood, bound at the middle with tufts of black goats hair. Large leaf-shaped blade on tubular socket, fitting on to the ring-turned wood shaft. The conical pointed foot is provided with a depressed globular knob at one-third of its length.
