This is an early sketch for the belvedere intended for the main market square of Seaside, a new residential resort of eighty acres. The belvedere and adjacent market halls are designed by Krier, while other architects are responsible for the 450-550 houses on the site. The belvedere in its revised design is rendered in white with a green glazed tile roof and detailing in coral stone.
