Bowl of porcelain. The exterior is covered yellow glaze in which a scrolled pattern is finely incised. Reserved in this ground are three circular medallions containing respectively a sheep, a goat, and a ram painted in 'miniature' colours on the white ground. Between the medallions are three identical groups of objects containing the following items: A vase containing a spray of roses and a halberd, from which hangs a scent-charm in the form of a sonorous stone, a bag and dish of pomegranates, a ruyi-sceptre, and two rings interlocked. Round the sides of the interior are four sprays of prunus mingled with pine, bamboo, lingzhi fungus and other plants; form the sprays hang a ruyi-sceptre, two pomegranates and fish, all in blue. On the bottom is a circular medallion with three sheep or goats under a tree.
