Tea Bowl

1590-1630 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

The tea bowl is underfired and has unsightly blemishes on one side and to the rim in the form of small pebbles that have ruptured through to the clay surface. This suggests that it was originally a kiln waster that was subsequently excavated.
