Rood tile end, round, with projecting rib at the back to join it onto roof broken off. Buff coloured earthenware with clear amber glaze. An uneven raised band round the edge and coiling five-clawed dragon in raised relief. The detail is fine and well observed. Note on back of tile: "Unearthed in my presence at the Ming Palace near Nanking in 1908. W. Perceval Yetts."
