Bowl with rounded well and sides spreading at a sharp angle to the rim; roughish foot with bevelled rim. The porcelain is coarse with imperfections and the glaze shows pinhole marks. Painted in purplish blue inside in the centre is the character 'da' (great) in a frame, and round the rim are three cartouches with sketchy leaf motives set in a ground of cash diaper; round the outside are bands of indeterminate motives in linear style and of simple petals round the foot.
