Plate, porcelain, with sloping rim, incised and coloured underglaze blue and painted in enamels and gilt. The recessed base is painted in the centre with a medallion with the arms of Lutwyche, or a tiger passant gules, with the crest, A tiger's head erased gules, tufted, maned or. In pretence is the coat of Bagnall, Ermine two bars or overall a lion rampant azure. There is an empty motto scroll beneath, in red, pale blue enamel, and gold. Round the well are four cartouche with floral sprays in red and gold. Encircling the rim to either side are a dragon and a phoenix incised in the porcelain and coloured in underglaze blue with a flower spray between them, with an outer border of cash diaper.
