Plate, porcelain, painted in enamels and gilt. The centre is painted with a shield with the arms of Sneyd of Bishton Staffordshire, Argent a scythe in pale, the blade in chief sable, on the dexter side of the handle a fleur-de-lis of the last; crest, A lion passant gardant sable; with Edmonds of Middlesex in pretence, Argent, on a cross, within a bordure, both engrailed sable, five cinquefolds of the field (here or). Round the well there are cartouche with formal flroal motifs on lotus scrollwork, and round the rim four jewel-like motifs and three sprays of a thistle-like flower and above the crest of a lion.
