Physical description

Bowl of porcelain. Circular, deep, with slightly out-turned rim. Painted outside with a bird, guelder-roses, plum blossom, and foliage, in enamels colours of the famille verte palette over a pale brown glaze. Inside the rim, a border of bamboo leaf and rosette diaper alternating with pairs of books, pictures and other emblems. At the bottom, a flower in red and green. The inside is glazed white.
