Bowl of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze enamels and gilt in Imari style. On the outside is a repeating design of flowering trees, pagodas, mountains and clouds, interrupted by shaped panels enclosing floral ornament. Round the interior is a narrow border composed of the same motives, while in the bottom in a circular medallion is a pavilion and a pomegranate tree growing from a large vase.
