Cup and saucer of porcelain. Outside the cup and under the rim of the saucer are branches of plum-blossom, and small birds, painted on the biscuit in enamel colours reserved on a black ground. Inside the cup and on the saucer are four panels, each containing a plant growing among rocks with a bird or butterfly, surrounding a medallion in which is a stylised chrysanthemum, painted over the glaze in colours.

Physical description
Cup and saucer of porcelain. Outside the cup and under the rim of the saucer are branches of plum-blossom, and small birds, painted on the biscuit in enamel colours reserved on a black ground. Inside the cup and on the saucer are four panels, each containing a plant growing among rocks with a bird or butterfly, surrounding a medallion in which is a stylised chrysanthemum, painted over the glaze in colours.
