Plate of porcelain, painted in overglaze enamels with Shou Lao (God of longevity) mounted on a stag, accompanied by a boy attendant who carries a gourd. The figures are shown in a landscape with flowering shrubs. On the rim are three borders, the first with blue dragons in panels reserved on a band of black trellis pattern, the second with gilt lotus flowers in six-sided compartments reserved on a pink diapered ground, the third with a wavy foliated stem on a light green band.
