Cup with lid and saucer of porcelain. The cup is painted outside and the saucer inside with two figures of ladies holding fans on a blue ground figured with gilt detached flowers and with a pair of butterflies and a bird in compartments and groups of paulownia and prunus blossom. The lid is decorated with similar panels and groups of blossom. In the middle of the saucer and inside the cup, which has no handle, is a spray of chrysanthemum. The painting is in red, green, blue and manganese-purple.
