Bowl and Lid

Bowl and lid of porcelain. Both pieces have a border of scalloped compartments enclosing alternately a spray of flowers and a geometrical pattern. Outside the bowl and on the top of the lid are branches of peony; on the lower side of the lid and inside the bowl on the bottom is a spray of camellia. Below the rim of the bowl outside are alternate sprays of prunus and irises. The decoration is in dark blue, red and gold.

Physical description
Bowl and lid of porcelain. Both pieces have a border of scalloped compartments enclosing alternately a spray of flowers and a geometrical pattern. Outside the bowl and on the top of the lid are branches of peony; on the lower side of the lid and inside the bowl on the bottom is a spray of camellia. Below the rim of the bowl outside are alternate sprays of prunus and irises. The decoration is in dark blue, red and gold.
