Bowl of porcelain with decoration painted in underglaze blue, overglaze enamels and gilt. On the outside are two flowering prunus trees with bamboo behind them, round the base a scrollwork border in red. Inside on the bottom a circular medallion containing a spray of leaves and round the sides a branch of prunus and two sprays of flowers. Below the rim is a border of formal cloud-scrolls in blue.
